2019 REGISTRATION

We welcome Novi youth in 1st-8th grades to be a part of the Novi Bobcats Organization!  Available openings on football teams and cheer squads will be filled on a first come, first served basis after veteran and legacy registration is complete.  Veteran and legacy registration begins on February 1, 2019 and lasts until February 28, 2019.  Rookie (new participant) registration will begin at 12:01am on March 1, 2019. 

Please note: Bobcat Veterans receive first priority for registration.  Bobcat Veterans are defined as participants who were on the prior season’s roster as of the first game of that season. Veteran status is given to players or cheerleaders who experience a season-ending injury any time following the first day of practice of the prior season. Veteran status is not given to those players or cheerleaders who elect to quit and not finish the season.  If Veterans do not register during their allotted time period, they must register as a rookie.  This may result in being placed on their team's wait list and/or football players not receiving their first choice in jersey number.  Legacy status is given to siblings of Veteran players or cheerleaders.  For more detailed information, please see our Registration Policy

 
FOOTBALL REGISTRATION:

ELIGIBILITY:
Football age/weight eligibility are listed below.  During online registration, rookies will need to upload a copy of the participant's birth certificate for age verification.  Both veterans and rookies must upload a document showing their current Novi Community School, grade and school year (redacted report card or document printed from MiStar).

PHYSICAL EXAM:
A physical exam is required of all participants in order to participate and must be completed on or after April 15, 2019, and prior to the first day of practice.  (Preference is to follow MHSAA guidelines but a physical dated during the same calendar year as the football/cheer season will be accepted.)   The physical form must have the date of the exam on it and be signed by a physician.  No one will be allowed to practice without a physical form on file with the Bobcats Organization.  Any health care form from your doctor's office can be used or you may use the MHSAA physical exam form found under the Registration tab.

PARTICIPATION FEES:
A $50 non-refundable registration fee must be paid at the time of registration.  This amount will be applied to your registration balance. (This deposit is not required for a wait-list application, but will be required if the player is lifted from the wait-list).   Once your participant is assigned to a team and given a roster position, the remaining fee will be due in full or you may elect to enter a payment plan.  Participation fees must be paid in full in order for your participant to receive their game jersey.  Any returned payments from your bank will incur a $25.00 bank fee.  If a payment plan is selected at registration, it must be followed to be in good standings.  100% of payment must be completed by 6/15.   Any late registrations (base on available openings) must have payments completed in accordance with the payment plan and be fully completed by 6/15.

Families with three or more children participating in the Novi Bobcat Organization will receive a $50.00 discount on the third+ child.

EQUIPMENT DEPOSITS:
Equipment deposits will be collected in the form of a personal check or cash at equipment pick up.  These funds will be held and returned at the end of the season when the Bobcats Organization receives all borrowed equipment.  A participant's deposit will not be returned and the participant will be subject to the loss of veteran status for failure to return borrowed equipment at the end of the season.  Notification of dates for equipment returns will be provided by the Football Equipment Director at the end of the season.

CHEER / POM REGISTRATION:
